Why I built this
The tool I needed and couldn't find

A Multiple Mini Interview is a circuit of short, timed stations rather than one long panel interview. Each station tests something different — ethics, communication, role play, prioritisation, motivation for medicine — and you move between them on a timer. Most UK medical schools now use them in some form.
How is my answer actually scored?
Against ten competencies grounded in GMC Good Medical Practice and NHS values-based recruitment. No station is marked on all ten — each one assesses only the three to five it genuinely tests, scored 1 to 5 and weighted into a band from 1 to 4. Every point is tied to something you actually said, with the fix to make before your next attempt.
Do I have to answer out loud?
You can speak or type. Speaking is closer to the real thing, and the timer is adjustable so you can match the reading and answer times your university uses. If you would rather type while you are still building confidence, that works too.
Are my voice recordings kept?
No. Your audio is transcribed so the answer can be scored, and the recording itself is not stored. The written transcript is kept along with your feedback and score, so you can review past attempts and track your progress.
Is it really free to start?
Yes, and no card is required. The free plan gives you the full question bank, 10 voice practice questions and 2 mock MMI circuits, with basic feedback and progress tracking. Premium is a paid upgrade you can take inside the app whenever you are ready — the pricing section above always shows the current rate.
How is this different from practising with ChatGPT?

Can I practise for a specific university?
Yes. You can work through stations by topic, or by the university you are interviewing at. University-specific questions are part of Premium.
Are the playbooks included in a subscription?
No. The playbooks on the Resources page are one-off PDF purchases, separate from your MMI Mentor plan. The MMI Interview Playbook is free by email; the others are £5 or £10 each.

What we collect

Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never sent to, seen by, or stored by us. Stripe holds your email address and payment record as the processor for that transaction — see stripe.com/privacy.
Retention
We hold your data — your email address, account details, and practice transcripts — for as long as it is needed to run the service and to communicate with you about it, and delete it once it is no longer needed. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw consent by unsubscribing, and lodge a complaint with the ICO. To exercise any of these, reply to any email from us or write to mmi.mentor.ai@gmail.com.
