UCAT score converter
The UCAT dropped Abstract Reasoning from 2025, so the cognitive total shrank from a 1,200–3,600 scale (4 subtests) to a 900–2,700 scale (3 subtests). Thresholds published in different years use different scales — use this to compare them on the same footing.
This is a simple proportional scaling (multiply by 4/3 or 3/4), not an official UCAT Consortium conversion. The Consortium has said scores from before and after 2025 are not directly comparable on a percentile basis, since removing a subtest changes the whole applicant distribution. Treat it as a rough way to read an old threshold against a new score, not an exact equivalence.
